What’s it like working at Amartha?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Amartha appreciate that salaries are paid on time and are above the regional minimum wage. The work environment is comfortable with supportive colleagues, and team cohesion is strong, with team members helping one another solve problems. The start-up environment provides valuable opportunities to learn new skills and develop independence across various responsibilities.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. Working hours often extend beyond standard times, with employees frequently working until 9pm or later on weekdays. Saturday work is common, with some months requiring up to four Saturday workdays. Sales and collection targets can be demanding with multiple responsibilities, and on-the-job training begins immediately without extensive foundational preparation. Additionally, compensation for field officers may be below market average compared to similar positions at competitor companies, with no monthly performance bonus currently offered.
