Reporting to Board of Directors, you will be responsible for :
Audits the accounting and financial data of various departments/branches within an organization to ensure accuracy and compliance with government guidelines and laws. Identifies improper accounting or documentation and researches issues and makes recommendations to improve policies or procedures accordingly. May work with outside auditors to help reconcile discrepancies or support the external auditing function. Accurate and timely preparation of all standard financial and management accounting information, statutory reports and the provision of financial information and advice. Tax management of the investment portfolio in accordance with company guidelines.
Key role is in design of the compliance arrangements and the review of compliance risks and processes. These responsibilities also include promoting the compliance culture within QBE Pool and to its intermediaries. Implementation of requirements is the responsibility of the relevant Business Unit Manager.
