Good Company but Bad ManagementI had the opportunity to work at Millennium Pharmacon International, a well-established company in the pharmaceutical distribution industry. The company has solid systems, a wide network, and provides good exposure to the healthcare business in Indonesia.
But the internal working culture was disappointing, Leadership was dominated by a small inner circle that prioritized personal relationships over professionalism and fairness. Constructive input was often ignored, and decisions were not always made transparently. This created a toxic environment that made it difficult for capable employees to grow and feel valued.
Unless there are changes in leadership behavior and internal culture, I wouldn’t recommend this company for professionals who value meritocracy, openness, and respectful collaboration.
