Good Things to Learn as Freshgrads, but No Work-Life BalanceHal yang baikThe good things I had learned here:
1. End-to-end import activities and knowledge, it's actually good for freshgrads to learn something new because this company is open to freshgrads from all major.
2. Lot of soft skills gained and improved here, I could have a good time management and multitasking, I also have a communication skills since as custom clearance staffs, we faced a several different department.
TantanganFrom what I learned before about export & import activities, I could have a deep knowledge here even if I was just about 7 months here. I could calculated the duty taxes, how to deal with Shipping Line Agents, have a deep knowledge for Incoterms and also could tell the difference for each, learn how to deal with SPJM and Segel Merah (NHI and Surveillance).
The real challenges you should face here:
1. Most of people from every departments are acting unprofessional.
2. The management should intended for an internal audit because there's a lot of staffs not even comply and understand enough to do their jobs and task responsibilities.
3. Salary under Jakarta's UMR (under 5,749,000), no overwork salary, public holiday, sick leave, and yearly leave will cut the salary, you can't be late because it will be cut your salary.
