Bank Index is a National Private Commercial Bank (NPCB), founded in Jakarta on July 30, 1992 and began offering its banking service on August 23, 1993 with the first branch at Jl Asemka No. 18-19, West Jakarta.Maintaining the spirit to keep growing and thriving made Bank Index strives to always improve itself to provide a more excellent and high quality service, with prudence and good governance at the forefront. The endless labour in refining itself with a very strong commitment to maintain the trust had made Bank Index categorized as a “Healthy Bank”.Bank Index’s main business is focused on the commercial sector. In the branches network development strategy, Bank Index prioritized the expansion of market share in small and medium enterprises (SMEs), develop financing cooperation with other financial institutions such as Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) and finance companies.One great achievement transpired in 2007 when Bank Index acquired Bank Harmoni (PT. Bank Harmoni Internasional) and later merged into Bank Index. It showed Bank Index’s effort in supporting the Indonesian Banking Architecture (API), a program by Bank Indonesia. Through this merger, Bank Index showcased a new and more solid front with numerous new branches.At present, Bank Index has 54 branch offices, spread in Jabotabek, Bandung, Cirebon, Solo, Surabaya, Bali, Batam, Lampung, Palembang, Medan, and Manado. All of which are connected on-line. Branch offices expansion plan will continue to be carried out according to our commitment to expand the market share and providethe best service to Bank Index’s current and prospective customers.Since May 2018, Bank Index launched IndexQu-an Internet dan Mobile Banking service enabling Customers to enjoy the convenience and comfort in conducting transactions: balance inquiry, account statement, and other services regardless of time and place limitations.Besides branch network expansion, Bank Index also continuously developing its Information Technology and System (ITS) with main focus in electronic delivery channel. Facing future banking demands, Bank Index realizes the importance of ITS development through the latest technology facilities in fulfilling customers’ needs for a fast and efficient service.All the management and employees of Bank Index have a strong determination to give the best service to customers with the support ofreliable technology, competent human resources, solid capital structure, risk management application, and good governance principle.Bank Index realizes that maintaining its existence as a financial institution is a very sensitive task that relies very much on trust. And one of the most important elements to achieve that is through an integrated and actualized company culturein daily operations.
