Employees at the University of Jambi appreciate the opportunities for knowledge sharing with students and discussing new topics in mining and earth sciences. They also value collaborating with international researchers and meeting new people to exchange ideas and gain expertise. However, some challenges include field work being more difficult than expected based on theoretical studies, language barriers hindering field work when equipment needs to be shipped from abroad, and commuting from different cities being a constraint for some employees.
