It is okay for a couple of years
The good thingsThe schools are generally good and the working hours are for the most part good too. The students are generally friendly and you are free to be flexible. You get all National Holidays off, two weeks at Christmas, a short Easter Break and three weeks off in the summer.
The challengesYou may get a school that is far from your home and while a driver is provided for those journeys, your day can be wasted in the car. Schools often don't inform you of changes in schedules and because you are only paid to teach, some times you get to school way too early or end up with a huge gap between lessons. When you aren't required by the school, you must go to the office. This can be extremely stressful to travel to if you live far away. Often you are just there because you have to be rather than doing anything meaningful. You do not get any extra travel payments for this if you live far away either.
