Miserable experience, unfit place for proper engineers
The good thingsRekan kerja yang baik dan supportive jika ada masalah.
The challengesTech stack jadul dan jauh di bawah standar industri. Banyak proses masih manual. Ngerjain code belum ada repo, deploy ke UAT masih ngumpulin code lewat SharePoint. Banyak practice yang udah kelewatan 10 tahun lebih.
Lembur hampir setiap hari dan sampai malam itu biasa, bahkan bisa ganti hari. Bukan karena developernya nggak bisa keep up, tapi karena timeline yang dikasih nggak realistis dari awal. Kerja weekend dan hari libur juga dianggap normal. Hidup cuma kerja, makan junk food, tidur, repeat. Olahraga? Healing? Boro-boro.
Requirement berubah seenaknya, bahkan ada yang belum fix saat development sudah jalan. Sampai UAT pun masih berubah. Hampir setiap task harus konfirmasi ke analyst karena requirement nggak jelas.
Dokumentasi minim, knowledge transfer minim, dan banyak proses dijalankan berdasarkan "dari dulu begitu".
Lebih sering belajar workaround daripada proper engineering practice. Banyak hal yang bikin mikir, "teknologi udah maju, kenapa masalah seperti ini masih ada?".

lembur tiap hari, bahkan di weekend. tidak ada kompensasi lembur hanya diganti dengan hari cuti. itupun tidak bisa diambil pada akhirnya. jadi intinya harus kerja jadi relawan.
