Shares in Kasnic were split between PT Kasnic Indotama and Duff & Phelps on a 70% : 30% basis. PT Kasnic Indotama had been owned by private shareholders and PT HT Capital, which was established in 1996.In June 2000, Duff & Phelps Credit Rating merged with Fitch IBCA, the new entity Fitch IBCA-DCR became one of the three largest rating agencies in the world and resulted in Fitch gaining a 30% shareholding in Kasnic.PT HT Capital acquired the 30% Fitch holding on June 15th 2005 to become a 75% majority holder in Kasnic. The remaining 25% of issued shares were retained by private individuals.
