Our long experience in cooperation and partnership with other international rating agencies ensures that our full range of rating services incorporates both domestic and international perspectives.When established in May 1997, Kasnic marked arrival of a unique cooperation integrating the local market expertise of PT Kasnic Indotama (Indonesia) and the international expertise of Duff & Phelps Credit Rating (USA). Shares in Kasnic were split between PT Kasnic Indotama and Duff & Phelps on a 70% : 30% basis. PT Kasnic Indotama had been owned by private shareholders and PT HT Capital, which was established in 1996.In June 2000, Duff & Phelps Credit Rating merged with Fitch IBCA, the new entity Fitch IBCA-DCR became one of the three largest rating agencies in the world and resulted in Fitch gaining a 30% shareholding in Kasnic.PT HT Capital acquired the 30% Fitch holding on June 15th 2005 to become a 75% majority holder in Kasnic. The remaining 25% of issued shares were retained by private individuals.
