Material at that time was supplied from our Singapore office.In the late 1990s, ie 1997 till 1999, the worsening asian financial crisis leads Indonesia to adopt the IMF reforms and open up foreign investment opportunities in order to encourage incoming capital. LSH took up this opportunity to invest in Indonesia and commence the establishment of Indonesian branch office of LSH. It was envisioned that the branch office, named PT Lam Seng Hang Indonesia will provide local stock point and resources to handle its own logistics.In August 2000, PT Lam Seng Hang Indonesia was established as PMA company in distribution and wholesale. For strategic and convenient closeness to most of our customers, the factory was setup in Jababeka Industrial Estate, Cikarang Bekasi which is to the east of Jakarta with easy access to most of the main highways.In 2004, PT Lam Seng Hang Indonesia established our first branch outside of Jakarta in the second largest industrial city of Indonesia, Surabaya. The branch office was able to provide the full range of products available from our Jakarta stock point while also carry stocked products to service the needs of our Surabaya customers.In end of 2009, prior to our ten years anniversary, PT Lam Seng Hang Indonesia has procured a new office premise in the prime business district of Megakuningan at the centre of south Jakarta. Located at the prestigious Cyber2 Tower, this new expanded premise allow our company to expand recruitment and cater to future growth. The official opening was held in April 2010.Since its establishment, PT Lam Seng Hang Indonesia has continued to support our customers with its wide network of chemical resources, reasonable pricing and prompt services.
