Leading Footwear Adhesive Company in Indonesia
The good thingsThe multi-national company from Taiwan and had multiple branches over the world in Vietnam, China, Australia, India, and many others. It will give you more international exposure that work with many foreign expatriate.
The challengesThe customer demand is bit challenging for newcomers, but it is good place to improve your Problem Solving skill. The another challenge is, that you are indirectly including in company's newer project - Cost Down Project.

    Taiwan company producing adhesive chemicals.
The good thingsGreat work life balance, managable stress level, small numbers of local employees.
The challengesSafety and health of employees are the main concern and even more important during pandemy. Company should have cover the employee treatment, testing cost if the employees are infected performing their duty (whether in the company or out duty) and provide vaccine. There are unclear job descriptions causing employees pushing away responsibilities to other Departments or to the more junior employee. Company regulation tends to be redundant. For local employees there is almost no career advancement. Respect for local employees and cultures from expat need to be improved.

No career advancement and appreciation for Locals..
The good thingsLocals people that work together.
The challengesThe appreciation and career advancenment for locals should be put more attention. This is not right place for ambitious people. Taiwanese can easily go to higher position without any hard work.

Patience trained, well paid for Taiwan graduates, no advancement
The good thingsGreat and supportive local colleagues, working in reasonably low pressure, chance to learn more Chinese and being familiar to working with foreign company.
The challengesExtremely hard to pursue career advancement, except for expats. Work deviates from the discussed job description, sometimes impolitely asked to support “sales department” if you have a proficiency in Chinese. More or less stingy behavior from the higher ups. Mentally and emotionally consuming behavior from certain departments.

The good thingsThe good things area : Salary and benefit is average compensated with the great work life balance. The work life balance will be appreciated by those who already have family or somebody in their senior age (more than 40). The stress level is average too. Fortunately, the members in my Department are doing pretty well in their tasks.
The challengesThe challenges in this company are : The management level (Department Head) are all Taiwanese expatriate. Some of the expatriate would not like to learn Indonesia culture and language as well. Communication is a challenge for this company. Respect and trust for local employees from the expatriate is also need to be improved. There is no career progression and very very slow salary + benefit raise for local employees. Certainly will not recommend this company for ambitious people. No clear training programs for new employee, all need to be go through learning by doing.

Multi national company, company culture need to be improved.
The good thingsGood work life balance. The working hours rarely need to be overtime. That is all I can write for the good things... really.
The challengesTop management hold by Taiwanese expatriate, need to respect and value local/domestic employee, learn local culture and language. Do not discriminate and underestimate local employees. Listen more to the local employee feedback.
