DSJ, founded in 1956, is a private school with all levels from Nursery up to High School. We are one of worldwide 140 German schools abroad under the supervision of the German Foreign Ministry and other German institutions that govern German schools abroad. We are commissioned and licensed by German authorities to lead students to the German High School Degree in 12 years (DIA - “Deutsches Internationales Abitur”). Following Indonesian school regulations, DSJ also holds licenses for all School- and Pre-School levels as a “Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama” (A-accredited).With an exciting customer mix of European Expats, local Mixed Marriage couples, and Indonesian citizens, we are a Place of Encounter between people and cultures and put emphasis on inter-cultural dialogue. Languages used resp. taught at the DSJ are (primarily) German, English, and Bahasa Indonesia.DSJ is located in BSD-City in a green and safe environment on a spacious 4.3 ha campus that also houses a gymnasium, a soccer field, swimming pools, tennis courts, and many other facilities. The modern school building is equipped with state-of-the-art natural science and computer labs, and even a 320-seater auditorium.
