In 1995, an industry-oriented lab for R&D in instrumentation and control was established under Dept. of Engineering Physics, Institut Teknologi Bandung (LABKON). In 2003, LABKONers were playing key roles in establishment of R&D Group on Instrumentation. In 2005: the R&D Group on Instrumentation was transformed into Center for Instrumentation Technology & Automation (CITA-ITB), a technopark entity operating directly under Deputy Rector for LPPM ITB. In 2007, CITA-ITB founded PT. CINOVASI REKAPRIMA.
