What’s it like working at Center For International Forestry Research?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at the Center For International Forestry Research (CIFOR) enjoy the scenic and peaceful work environment, complete with facilities for sports and recreation. They appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of their colleagues, even towards new employees, as well as the high level of security that allows them to leave belongings unattended. CIFOR provides opportunities to work on up-to-date research issues and collaborate with other institutes, and employees value the supportive supervisors and colleagues.

However, some potential challenges include the language barrier posed by different English accents, relatively high cafeteria prices, and the occasional encounter with wildlife in the forested surroundings. Certain research projects may have specific respondent requirements, which could be limiting. Additionally, employees need to be prepared for demanding workloads, deadlines, and analytical thinking in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

    Culture and environment in CIFOR
The good thingsPekerjaan di sini dijalani dengan sangat enjoy.
The challengesBahasa Inggris menjadi suatu kesulitan apabila anda belum terbiasa, misalnya aksen English versi orang India, dsb.
