The challengesBad high-level management, the people on top do not know how the pharmaceutical industry operate even the basics of Good Manufacturing Procedures, but they will micromanage you, you will end up working 24/7 even on weekends for an unclear goal and 80% of the time the things that you're working on won't be applied.
Management does not respond well to constructed criticism and will grill you whenever you try to communicate a good change or be honest about the potential bad progress of a project, and they will blame you for the bad progress although it is not yours or your teams' fault. There's no clear hierarchy and organizational structure, you will be asked to work outside your job desc most of the time, and then suddenly you're thrown into another department uncorrelated to your education and experience.
They have good buildings and a potential to improve, but if there's no clear structure on high-level, bad leadership, and continue to be driven by bad politics, don't expect things to improve .
