    My Point of View
    The good thingsBenefit are generous especially during pandemic, was given extra allowances for transport and food. The company always distribute plenty health supplies and masks a few times per week
    The challengesFor fresh graduate, lack of training in the beginning makes daily activities confusing and uncertain, as it is expected to deal with clients almost from the beginning. Lack of job desk clarity and department function makes it worse, especially in credit department, it is expected for credit department to deal with all miscellaneous problems that are not supposed to be our responsibilities. Communication between departments are very poor and other departments are not being responsible enough with their own work, so in the end credit departments takes all the burden

    The good thingsBank of china jakarta branch adalah salah satu bank asing yang memiliki pelayanan baik kepada customer serta product yang ditawarkan sangat menguntungkan untuk berinvestasi.
    The challengesBank of china masih terus melakukan pengembangan, baik knowlage maupun infrastruktur yang ada, sehingga terkadang kendala akan tools dan equipment untuk staff maupun outsourcing perlu diperhatikan lagi.

    Benefit Tunjangan dan Manajemen yang peduli
    The good thingsManajemen yang peduli akan karyawannya. Sejak awal merebaknya virus Corona, staff disupport masker, hand sanitizer dan vitamin sebagai tindakan pencegahan. Dua kali dalam seminggu diberikan snack buah-buahan. Tunjangan asuransi bagus, bahkan banyak staff juga berkesempatan training ke kantor Bank of China Hong Kong.

    The good thingsKebetulan dapat cabang di CBD Pluit yang lingkungannya lumayan baik, partner kerja juga lumayan kompak untuk saling membantu. Karyawan di BOC difasilitasi dengan asuransi kesehatan yang bagus, BPJS, dan beberapa fasilitas tahunan lain seperti voucher belanja, kue bulan, uang angpao, bakcang, kue lebaran dll. Cuti yang cukup fleksibel pengan cuti bersama tidak dipotong dalam cuti tahunan.
    The challengesPekerjaan yang lumayan merangkap. Sistem yang lumayan panjang. Tidak ada operational SOP yang pasti sehingga penyelesaian masalah dalam setiap cabang bisa gerbera beda. Tidak ada keseragaman dalam pekerjaan sehingga cara kerja setiap karyawan berbeda. Tidak ada standar dalam penawaran gaji sehingga range gaji di BOC sangat beragam. Karena bank asing dengan dibawah 3 negara sehingga aturan yang diikutin juga 3 negara seringa terkesan agak panjang dan susah. Pada saat awal masuk, karyawan tidak dipersiapkan terlebih dahulu dan langsung terjun di kerjaan sehingga apa yang dipelajari tidak pasti karena beda orang beda cara kerja.

    The good things- good teamwork - fine staff - good environment - best in health insurance - excellent in bonuses and voucher gifts - good in staff training with holiday experience
    The challenges- it takes clarity in career path (need more opportunities for career development) - it takes clarity in giving rules and policies so that employees can comfortably work and not feel confused - need more training program to improve their employee knowledge

    My brief but worthwhile experience in Bank of China
    The good thingsI learned so much from many professionals in my department and they were eager to teach me. They always give me encouragement and share their experiences. Also, beside gaining so much knowledge about banking industry, i was also taught to have a good attitude in the society.
    The challengesSince this was my first ever working experience, yet i was faced with so many professionals in their field, i was intimidated and discouraged. Everything was so hard at the beginning and i was scolded numerous times. But i know that's what going to shape me.
