About the role

As a Logistic & EXIM Officer at PT. Nobel Riggindo Samudra, you will support export-import and logistics operations, including shipment coordination, documentation handling, customs compliance, and smooth delivery processes to support business operations and customer requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Sourcing forwarders for shipping service requirements

• Conducting assessments for new forwarders

• Negotiating pricing with forwarders

• Documenting all documents from the time goods are “ready to shipment” at the vendor until the goods are received. Documents include purchase orders, shipping documents, goods-related documents, and vendor quotation documents.

• Monitoring shipment delivery from vendors until received by the end user

• Following up with forwarders regarding any discrepancies or non-conformities found

• Verifying the accuracy of all invoices related to shipping services

• Checking the compliance and validity of shipping documents from vendors (local and overseas) as well as permit documents, according to deadlines

• Providing information regarding the estimated arrival schedule of goods one day prior (H-1)

• Monitoring and updating import approval documents

• Handling documents and stock transfer processes between warehouses
  

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transportation, or distribution industry

2. Strong understanding of warehousing operations, inventory management, and transportation logistics

3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve logistics-related issues

4. Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

6. Adaptable to changes and committed to continuous improvement in logistics operations
