My client is looking for a he PHP Laravel Developer who will be responsible for back-end web development, object-oriented programming (OOP), front-end development, software development, and programming tasks to support the company's projects and client needs. The role includes back-end development for mobile applications, requiring strong expertise in API creation to ensure seamless integration with mobile front-ends. The working hours for this position align with Australian time zones.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web and mobile application back-ends using PHP and the Laravel framework.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support mobile and web applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.

• Follow industry best practices and coding standards.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and enhance code reliability.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in PHP development with a focus on Laravel.

• Proficiency in Git with advanced version control knowledge.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

• Extensive experience with RESTful API design and creation for mobile applications.

• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.

• Knowledge of database management systems, particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL.

• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• ​Knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS, and DevOps practices
