B. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Associate to join our Immigration Practice Group. This role offers an opportunity to handle end-to-end corporate immigration matters for multinational and Indonesian clients, collaborate closely with government counterparts, and build strong technical expertise with clear pathways for growth and responsibility.
C. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Associate at MNP’s Immigration Practice Group, you will:
Manage end-to-end corporate immigration files (planning, filings, tracking, completion, reporting).
Prepare and file RPTKA applications and manage e-RPTKA/e-TKA portal workflows, including ekspos (presentation/clarification) during the RPTKA approval process.
Coordinate visa processes via e-Visa and other relevant government systems (e.g., applications for VITAS, ITAS/KITAS, ITAP/KITAP, MERP).
Handle cancellation processes (EPO/exit permits) and oversee foreigners’ exit/departure compliance.
Arrange post-arrival registrations and local reporting where applicable (e.g., SKTT/dukcapil, police reporting if required), and monitor permit validity/compliance calendars.
Liaise with relevant authorities (e.g., Ministry of Manpower/Kemnaker, Directorate General of Immigration/Kemenkumham) and attend meetings/ekspos as needed.
Prepare client-facing documents: advice memos, document checklists, templates, power of attorney/authorization letters, and step plans.
Maintain accurate matter trackers, timelines, and status reports; ensure data accuracy across portals.
Communicate proactively with clients on requirements, timelines, and risks; escalate issues promptly with practical solutions.
Support internal initiatives (SOP improvements, knowledge management, precedents) and contribute to business development when required.
D. KEY REQUIREMENTS
To thrive in this role, you should have:
1–2 years of hands-on experience handling corporate immigration matters in Indonesia.
Demonstrated experience with RPTKA filing, e-RPTKA/e-TKA portal use, ekspos during RPTKA processing, and e-Visa submissions.
Experience handling visa cancellations/EPO and coordinating foreigners’ exit processes.
A Law degree (Sarjana Hukum) from a reputable Indonesian university.
Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written); Mandarin or another foreign language is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management; ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
Clear, professional communication and client-service mindset; able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
High ethical standards, discretion with confidential information, and willingness to attend meetings/ekspos as needed.
