FABRIC DEVELOPMENT SUPERVISOR - APPAREL & FASHION (RND SUPERVISOR)
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Science, Fashion Technology, or a related field
2. 5+ years of experience in fabric development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
3. Deep understanding of knits, performance textiles, and sustainable materials
4. Able to present the fabric strategy and updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders in English
5. Strong knowledge of fabric testing standards, production processes, and textile compliance regulations
6. Experience working with PLM systems and managing cross-functional projects
7. Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the fabric development team, offering hands-on technical support, coaching, and project oversight.
Oversee seasonal fabric sourcing and development aligned with brand identity and design direction.
Provide technical evaluations of fabric performance, including lab test results and compliance standards.
Troubleshoot complex fabric-related challenges during development and production stages
Liaise with mills and global vendors to drive fabric innovation, cost-efficiency, and quality improvement
Guide fabric testing protocols and ensure compliance with internal and external standards (e.g., AATCC, ASTM, ISO)
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing.
