TantanganThe curriculum are complex. New comers have to learn and read more and more, but it is the best place for fresh graduates to learn about international curruculum.
For grade 7-8 they use Cambridge Lower Secondary
For grade 9 - 10 they implement Cambridge IGCSE
For grade 11 - 12 The have pure iBDP curriculum and IB Curriculum Certificate (adoption of IB curriculum).
It is a senior school. You can be asked to teach lower grades (7-9), or higher grades (10 -12), or even the combination of lower and higher grades (e.g: 7, 10, 12). You will prepare much administrations.
Some schedules appear in sudden time like not organized. You must be ready with sudden schedules.
There is gap between local and ex patriate teachers.
When you become the PIC of an event the money from the finance is difficult and take long process. You must prepare all events at least 6 months before the duty time.
The students like to litter and not really care with the trash.
Sometimes the leader give you tasks without clear instructions, clear SOP, and clear steps. You must be careful and you must have initiative to ask. If you don't ask about your job descriptions and you miss something, you will be blamed.
You must safe adn file everything of your works because they have ever lost files that all teachers have alredy collected to the curiculum coordinators. Take photo as a proofs.
