PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk. (Tjiwi Kimia) manufacturing facilities are located in Sidoarjo, near Surabaya in East Java - Indonesia. The mill which started as a caustic soda plant, now boasts many state-of-the-art paper and converting machines making it one of the world’s largest stationery manufacturers under one roof.The mill commenced production in 1978 with an annual paper production capacity of 12,000 metric tons. In 2006, the annual paper and board production capacity grew to over 1,200,000 metric tons along with an additional stationery converting capacity of approximately 320,000 metric tons per annum. The product range includes value-added products such as coated art, cast coated, specialty paper, carbonless paper and huge range of school and office stationery. Exercise books, pads, spirals, hardback books, drawing books, shopping bags, fancy stationery, envelopes, continuous forms, file folders and others make up the range of converted stationery products. Tjiwi Kimia is one of APP paper mill in Indonesia that has been actively promoting the use of post-consumer waste paper. The recycled fiber is used in the manufacture of Tjiwi Kimia’s fine paper and stationery range of products. Tjiwi Kimia obtain various certifications that provide third party verification for its commitment in efficient and sustainable operations.
