The SIS Group of Schools has eight campuses in Indonesia and offers an education system modelled after the Singapore curriculum. Its goal is to empower learners to achieve their full potential from a world-class, well rounded and innovative educational experience.The focus of the SIS curriculum, which is taught in English, is to provide the core knowledge and skills to create a culture of learning throughout the lives of our students. Classes range from Early Childhood to Primary, Secondary and Pre-university levels. Examinations include the Cambridge IGCSE, A levels and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.

Okay but...

Hal yang baikThis is an international institution where there are international members within this community where sometimes it is a bit hard for Indonesian to cope with international community. I learned a lot about edu apps, the character of students and teachers. The school facilitates teachers with laptop/ipad, subscribes to several learning resource websites.

TantanganCanteen is too expensive, even students often complain about this. As a teacher, I experienced various things that were very sudden, the school demanded professionalism, but the school itself was less professional, such as adding a jobdesc without being discussed with the teacher or head of department. Self development program held on weekend, oh god. With a lot of administration, I don't think a weekly meeting is the right thing, because teachers who have a lot of teaching hours will find it difficult to prepare lesson plans on time. once every two weeks is okay, but for once a week it is not okay, unless there is something very urgent and important. One teacher teaches many levels, I consider this the least effective thing. Primary until Jc still okay, but start from preschool? it is not okay. Preschool teachers with primary-jc teachers have different criteria and skills. Not all teachers can teach preschool, if the school does require some teachers to teach preschool, please provide the teacher with training, do's and don'ts, guide the teacher.
