Accordingly, Scientex has made strategic moves to tap into the huge potential that this market segment offers here and abroad.In early 2013, we completed our acquisition of the Great Wall Companies (GW) – an established brand with considerable presence in both the domestic and international markets for consumer packaging products. By bringing GW into our stable, Scientex has captured a mature and sizeable market in Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific for flexible plastic packaging.A year later in February 2014 we acquired Seacera Polyfilms, an established manufacturer of Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films that has developed a significant presence in the domestic market since incorporation in 1990. This acquisition has enabled Scientex to expand its product range and services to the flexible film lamination industries.
