    Toxic workplace in laboratory.
The good thingsConvenient to get to the location that’s all.
The challengesGaslighting practices by the management. LQuestioning you when you have clarifications to be made. As management, you should be guiding, not throwing more questions back. Your method of guidance is horrible. Ample of feedback given but nothing changed, only thing that the director did was buy food and tea that’s all. Never eve solve the cause of the management horrible attitude.

Poor people management & HR dept who is full of stuck up personnel. They just don't care!
The good thingsGreat team. Working peers who were very supportive.
The challengesI was genuinely interested to continue working under different positions but my applications were declined. No consideration given for me to take on said positions that i have applied for, instead new recruits were accepted and it continued to put up ads for same positions over the months. Imagined being denied the chance to continue your contributions to the company which impressed you for the last 1 year even for positions that were below your credentials such as PSA.

It is still a learning experience.
The good thingsFlexibility on shifts and leave application. Nurse manaegers always stand for staffs against conflicts from unreasonable complaints
The challengesStaff from other multidisciplinary team are lesser considerable and team work, always mind their own business. Biases and boot-licking cultures.

Good opportunities to learn but not the kind of culture everyone would prefer
The good thingsGood leave entitlement and bonuses. Learning opportunities.
The challengesPersonally, do not like the overall culture of the company. As staff do not get recognition nor valued through hard work and etc... Work gets throw last minute, due to poor planning and coordination internally. On top of that, more of solo work than teamwork. As everyone draws their line clearly, maybe due to high workload.

Great working environment with nice colleagues
The good thingsThe team that I worked with, are very cooperative and friendly. Most if not all of my colleagues from other departments are also friendly and helpful.
The challengesThere are many administrative tasks that required a lot of work that took up the time for focusing on our main roles.

Positive Feedback on working in this company
The good thingsI really enjoyed working here throughout my 2 years in Woodlands Health. The senior Nurse Clinician really made my experience here a fruitful one. With never-ending courses, I managed to learn a lot of new skills that I could use throughout my career. The seniors here are very welcoming and approachable.
The challengesAs of now, there are no challenges yet as most of the colleagues I worked with had always been great with no issues. However, if I were to say one, that would be the roster. It's exhausting but it's part and parcel of working as a nurse. Sometimes, the day that you wanted off will not be granted as there are not enough staff.

Do NOT join if you want work-life balance!
The good thingsWoodlands Health is under NHG which has great employment benefit.
The challengesThere is no work-life balance. High demand of work hours even on weekends which is not always necessary as it is always a 'rush to wait, wait to rush' situation.

The good thingsNew hospital, chance to build something good
The challengesThey need more competent people in senior positions. Very orthodox style of management and staff are not respected. Not a good place for young ambitious people to be at.

    No experience and knowledge
The good thingsIt is a very big hospital for north which is very good. I thought good career opportunity, hence joined here. But after sometime realized that they cannot get good senior doctors and nurses. No good learning opportunity.
The challengesAgree with previous reviews. Management is very arrogant and no knowledge of developing care model that our patients want. Everything is messy. Heard that many senior consultant already left them because of bad management.

A chance to build a new hospital
The good thingsChance to build the future of our healthcare services. It's a part of NHG which is very forward looking cluster.
The challengesEnvironment could be more conducive and employees should be given genuine encouragement and credit for their contributions. I also feel that decision making process should be more informed And collaborative.
