    TRANS7 (initially named TV7) was established under Kelompok Kompas Gramedia (KKG). On 22nd of March 2000, Berita Negara No. 8687 announced that the Ministry of Trade and Indusry established TV7 as PT Duta Visual Nusantara Tivi Tujuh with serial number 809/BH.09.05/III/2000.With the development and rapid competition of television industry, on 4th of August 2006, KKG and CT Corp started to build strategic partnership. In order to directly approach the audience, TV7 relaunch its new logo became TRANS7 on 15th of December 2006.TRANS7 is committed to provide wide variety of programs that promotes intelligence, acuity and active entertainment with the essence of humble and rustic nature.
