The models are The Savvy, launched in 2007, that received 2 Awards for Best City Car from Majalah Mobil Motor and Auto Bild Indonesia; the Gen2 and Neo (also launched in 2007), with the more sporty and stylish outlook within the hatchback categories; and not forgetting the mini sedan class, Proton produces the Gen2 Persona, Saga(launched 2009) and Waja(launched 2007) that is highly comfortable and functional. However, the accolade goes to the most recent entrant to the MPV market that is the first ever PROTON’s MPV, the Exora. This model is the biggest sales contributor to PT PEI since its launch and debut at the 17th Indonesian International MotorShow on July 24th, 2009.Until today, Proton Edar Indonesia is still distributing CBU models to the Indonesian market and the increase in sales volume and growth can be seen significantly from year to year.
