    I participated in operational risk assessments, studied refinery production processes in the Fuel Oil Complex I area, presented Retrospective HAZOPs for Units 13 and 14, applied BowTie analysis for risk control, learned about industrial hygiene and work environment measurement to prevent accidents, implemented Pertamina's 11 Corporate Life Saving Rules, attended fire drilling training, gained insights from ISRS and Full Risk Survey audits, volunteered in Bulan K3 safety events at RU IV Cilacap.

    The good thingsThis company give a big chance to develop our skills for now and our future. in other side, this company give every employee some facilities, salary and carrier perfectly. So, it was very good company to work.
    The challengesIt was a challenge for the employee because this company is the biggest company in Indonesia that concern on Oil, Gas, and Petroleum Processing. So, the skills and the spirit to work of the employee must be involved in case to keep the company mastery.

    Unforgetable and great experience.
    The good thingsThe workers there guide me about the procedures for doing a good job. I was also taught to always be disciplined and how to improve my performance in various situations. Also, they are great worker though. The are hardworkers but also great at joking, which is that is one great way to cope their stress at such a complicated job in oil and gas industry.
    The challengesBureaucracy simplification would be great. Why I said this, because there are so many processes that I think we can cut. Or simply use more digitization to make work faster and more efficient. But overall, I think they are doing a great job.

    The challengesAkses transportasi umum menuju lokasi kantor atau lapangan tidak memadai. Kondisi ini diperparah dengan masih adanya begal disekitar lokasi. Hal ini menyebabkan pekerja harus memiliki kendaraan pribadi atau menunggu bus perusahaan untuk menuju kantor.

    The good thingsI love learning more, I love the people, the people are very kind and friendly. My field supervisor taught me with heart, he taught me not only base on my education background but also with general knowledge, and how to communicate with other people. He is very patient person and self control, good knowledge and hands working. He is also a person with high responsible. I love PT. Pertamina, management system is awesome. I love learn reactor, catalyst, and solving problem there. Clean environment, comfortable, and highly secure.
    The challengesThe challanges are to study all around my project, not only basic knowledge of background education but also other. We must understand to explain people with other background including to unemployment, this is because in we find not only chemical engineer people but also people with education and without education. Learn to communicate and to solve the problem, learn as much as we can.

Selama berada di PT Pertamina RU IV Cilacap merasa nyaman karena tempatnya bersih rapih dan karyawan yang sangat ramah. Selain itu juga mendapatkan kenalan baru yang berasal dari berbagai Universitas lain dengan latarbelakang pendidikan yang berbeda. Dan mendapatkan pengalaman yang luar biasa ketika berkerja praktek di PT Pertamina RU IV Cilacap.

    The good thingsKeselamatan kerja di Pertamina menjadi prioritas utama tentunya supaya tidak terjadi hal-hal yang membahayakan. Semua karyawan di dalam kilang menggunakan APD (Alat Pelindung Diri). Selama masuk ke dalam kilang tidak diperkenankan membawa Handphone, laptop, tab, camera dan sejenisnya sehingga seluruh karyawan fokus terhadap pekerjaannya. Selama Kerja Praktik di Refinery Unit III saya mendapatkan banyak pengetahuan mengenai Teknologi dan Proses Pengolahan Minyak Bumi dan Gas secara teori dan praktik.
    The challengesKesulitan saya selama kerja praktik disini adalah pada saat baru memulai mengerjakan tugas khusus yang saya ambil yaitu menentukan kondisi operasi optimum, menentukan jumlah tray teoritis dan efisiensi kolom namun akhirnya hal tersebut bisa saya selesaikan dengan baik.
