Nice working environment, but too much in comfort zone.The good thingsThe company has quite good system in terms in many aspects. In terms of accounting for instance, the system & internal rules have been very well established so that the employees just follow. In terms of working style, the employees would definitely still have work-life balance as the company's nature of business does not require quite a lot of overtime works. Sure, we should have overtime works occasionally, but not everyday. which is good for everyone especially the women. The company also has woman period leave and the employee can use it without feeling uneasy to the boss. In terms of benefits, the company provides fitness facility and 90% medical allowance for the employee whatever the hospitals the employee goes. The salary is good enough. Though the company does not provide bonus, but the THR is quite satisfying as it is more than 1x salary. The salary increment would be based on appraisal result and adjusted annually. So, fair enough.
The challengesThe company is not good enough for the challenge seekers due to the nature of business except maybe for the Sales/Marketing staff because they have certain target should be achieved. However, for admin or staffs behind the desk I think would not have much career development as everything has been very well established without needing much significant improvement. Therefore, this company is very much considered as a comfort zone and I think this would be very suitable for those who want to have 'final destination' in career path.
