A lot of political management, hard salary negotiation, employee appraisal is not transparent, minimum benefit & facilities
The good thingsLister is applying work-from-anywhere (WFA) policy. They also offer bare minimum benefit, such as BPJS Kesehatan and Ketenagakerjaan. To support WFA policy, they provide internet bill allowance per month.
The challenges- Terrible employee management. The working progress is very slow for a startup. It takes lots of meetings and bureaucracies just to solve one problem. Some of the meetings take up to 3-4 hours, which is uneffective and wasting precious time. - The employee performance appraisal is not transparent and very subjective. - The OKRs for each employee is unrealistic and it was decided arbitrarily, without further discussion with the employee involved. Even when the employee has suggested the realistic OKRs, the company and the supervisor(s) wouldn’t approve it. - Too many political management and subjective assessment. - Criticism is nearly impossible, because it would’ve been taken too personal. - The company is keep recruiting new employees for higher position, such as senior, C-level, and manager. Which is ridiculous, because the company is not investing and/or trusting their own currently-working employees. - Like any other Jogja-based company, they offer low salary (compared to the same position/level in another company/city) and minimum benefits.
