The Deed of Establishment has been approved by the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia with Decree No. AHU-5150.AH.01.01, dated October 26, 2009.The shareholders of KAI Properti are PT KAI with 99.63% ownership and Yayasan Pusaka with 0.37% ownership.In line with KAI's Vision and Mission, to become the best transportation ecosystem solution for Indonesia by providing a safe and efficient transportation system, KAI Properti has established to support the achievement of the Vision and Mission by running supporting businesses in the property, construction, trading, and railway maintenance sectors. KAI Properti has succeeded in supporting KAI in reactivation of the railway infrastructure of the Cibatu - Garut line with the construction of station building facilities that can now be used by the wider community. On Sumatra, KAI Properti supports the long chain coal train business (babaranjang) by building double tracks and other infrastructure to increase the intensity of babaranjang on railway lines in South Sumatra.
