Jogjakarta Community School (JCS) was established in September 2012 to provide an international style education for expatriate and Indonesian children in the Jogjakarta area. JCS is a unique and exciting place for children between the ages of 2 to 17 to grow and learn. We foster a positive approach to life-long learning, encouraging children to embrace new experiences and develop their individual potential. Our children are encouraged to be both locally and globally aware in their experiences and learning. As a school we strive to be environmentally sustainable, drawing upon many local resources. JCS is supported by its students, families and local community and we, in turn, look to return this support by creating a friendly and engaged school community where our children are able to cherish happy memories and life-long friendships.
