A good place to upgrade yourself, emotionallyThe good thingsThe environment are very supportive yet some people were trying to outsmart and being way too competitive than others- in not positive manner. The leader in commercial has immensely high standard of work ethic and achievement, great leader and mentor, and you can go around the facility, so not too sedentary activity at work. Many new innovation from RND is available to try. Good place to learn a lot of things, especially if you are looking for challenges.
The challengesThe whole system, especially value chain process end to end need major improvement, most of the time the commercial are the ones who pulls everybody else. The working hour is long, the pressure is high. As the sides of coin I mentioned above about high standard of work ethic and achievement, we also pressured to do the same. I personally often feeling hesitate to take annual leave (but did it anyway) because my former boss almost never use his annual leave in the last 10 years and always try to be in office although not feeling well. Used to start a division meeting by 7.30 am and leaving the office at least by 5.30 pm, every single day. Although I was in sales department, no chance to arrange flexible working time. Need to tap attendance at work, both sign in and sign out. Cannot do work-life balance, it's not company for you to settle in.
