    Poor work life balance
The good thingsLucky to have good team members whom were cooperative and gave full support in my training. My hard work paid off by getting good increment every year.
The challengesLack of support from HR Team. Every 3 months or so, I would see people leaving due too poor coordination from management,

The good thingsEncouraging Management team - encourage staffs to take the leadership role and gives the opportunity for us to "grab" it Senior staffs are friendly and willing to guide you
The challengesMinimal interaction between departments. BUT, understand as covid measures are easing, they are encouraging inter-department gatherings again. I am looking forward to it!!

Good progressive company that is under apprecciated
The good thingsGood colleagues with minimum politics. Management is having a listening ear but takes time to change. Progressive n good potential to go higher . Investing in various incentive schemes n training for staff
The challengesDiscipline , especially in financials , that has the flip side of being too conservative . Some staff that has been here for a long time became obstacles to progress .

    Great Career Progression
The good thingsWas given the opportunity to learn and experience matters which was not exposed to me in my previous employment Management and own department is very kind in giving me the opportunity to learn and grow even for leadership skills (external courses)
The challengesWould be better if it is more accessible by transport . Even private hire cars are denied entry due to security reasons

    Great career progression !!
The good thingsA company that recognize talents and hard work, having a fair amount of salary adjustment during yearly/special promotion based on the performance given. If you believe hard works pays off and you are willing to work hard for what you want to achieve, this is the Company for you :)
The challengesMay not have as much staff welfare as compared to other companies, but staffs may voice out their opinions and suggestions for the Management's approval

Good for learning and career development
The good thingsCompany is still doing well in this covid crisis. They continue to pay bonus yearly and no lay offs as far as I know. On top of salary which is decent, there are many incentives you can claim. They are highly welcoming to fresh grads and are willing to train you. If you prove your value to them, you will be groomed and offered various career development opportunities.
The challengesThe amount of paperwork is huge and takes a lot of time, but at least they are working on automating processes (RPA) now.

    Great place for fresh graduates
The good thingsWillingness to accept fresh graduates and able to learn skills. Minimal politics which allows a better work environment between colleagues. More towards family culture. If you are able to be recognised in your department, you have a high chance of attaining greater heights such as promotion & increment. The % of increment seems to be considerably high as well.
The challengesDue to it being a family culture, there may be differing opinions on certain topics but this is a common issue in any SMEs.

    Open communication environment
The good thingsUnlike other companies, Global gives the staffs chance to have direct communication with Management team (COO/CEO) to voice our concerns and feedback
The challengesNot very accessible as only 3 SBS bus comes to this area

The challengesNot able to go full digitalization, as there are quite a number of paperwork to be done

Bad company / no career progression / nice colleagues
The good thingscolleagues were nice and helpful , immediate superior were helpful too.
The challengeseveryone is there to please the owner- it seems this is a issue in this company- doing real didn't matter as much as pleasing the owner.

A very good stepping stone as a new coming into the forwarding industry.
The good thingsThe company has a pleasant working environment with colleagues who are willing to share, teach and guide you in your current job scope. This company is always 'mentioned' as the best learning school in the industry as upgrading of skills are always recommended by the managment. They have a clear set of management philosophies as expected from their staffs and if the certain staffs have potential, they will definately groomed under their management pipeline.
The challengesNot offering the best pay and bonus package in the market. The company still run as a very ancient SME model and one might not be able to adapt if they are from MNC previously.

    Much to learn
The good thingsLocated in the east with decent amenities, lovable people in the office and very dedicated team to work with.
The challengesMany organisational challenges in terms of the service providers and client base, timelines and performance indicators are strict and the management leaves much to be desired.

Be prepared to work long hours. Do not apply if OT is not your thing
The good thingsThey are willing to hire almost anybody. Their confirmation period is 6 mths, with an interim assessment in the third month. If you are willing to learn, they will throw you in and see if you can float.
The challengesWorking hours 0900hrs to 1848hra , due to 44hours/5 days. Going home at 1800hrs is only possible of you are rostered to work 5.5 days that week. Be prepared to be overwhelmed of more than one of your team is not present, as headcount is extremely lean.
