BMS (SPK) is a warm environment to work. Full of friendly people. It is a multicultural place. But everyone working and studying there will see you like you are a part of their family. So when you go to work, it feels like you go from one home to another home. You will find a lot interesting experience, new things you have not seen and experienced before. In general and in cultural way.
The good things- Nice boss and friendly colleagues. Makes me feel home. - There will always be new students coming to enroll each year. It will also make you experience something new facing them and getting to know them. Makes you feel in the new environment all over again so the job does not get bored.
The challengesDifferent needs, character and personality from 900 students and parents. Some will make me feel warm and loved. But some others will test my patience and professionality. Have to be good in staying calm.

    Nice colleagues, confusing management
The good thingsSalary offer for Indonesian teachers was well above other schools. Teachers get assigned their own rooms, this is helpful when you need to focus on your work. Teacher colleagues are kind and cooperative (depends on which department you are at), easy to coordinate work with. Work/life balance is good.
The challengesManagement is confusing in terms of consistency in managing people, giving decisions, and directing people towards the school's vision. They could not translate well what they want into sensible attainable goals but when things get rough, teachers were blamed easily. No opportunities for career development if you are a local, instead if you were in a certain race and caste it was easy & complimented. When your closeness with your superior is the only defining way to get a career chance, the school develop into unhealthy working environment. The way the management tried to dismiss teachers was terrible. Benefits were low, take care of your own with your salary.
