1 to 2 years in the role, current employee
Small company with huge opportunities for professional growth, great for starters
The good thingsThe work environment and colleagues are the best. People come and go but the vibe remains largely the same, it's not exactly casual but it really helps to balance against the stressful workload. Management can do better in terms of direction and communication, but they always do their best to accommodate the employees' needs and they certainly won't limit your potential. Set targets are reachable and realistic for the most part. Also don't think too much on the starting salary, it gets a lot better in no time if you perform well.
The challengesHeavy workload, tight deadlines, and last minute changes. Most things need be done in an instant, which often lead to scheduling conflicts. Non-priority work can suddenly become a priority at a moment's notice. As stated previously, management needs improvement because their decision-making (both major and minor) often change abruptly and it could really affect team performance. You can accumulate a lot of vacation days over time and they're quite easy to claim, but don't expect a hassle-free holiday if you don't have anyone to cover your work.
