No Structure, No Growth, Owner-Driven ProblemsThe good thingsGreat & helpful co-workers, company is very lax due to no regulations / SOP.
Recomended for people who does not look for career-growth and looks for slow working pace (Slow working pace requires you to work in a specific way)
Recomended for fresh-grads that lack potential & skills as a developer ( i.e only knows standard PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, HTML, CSS ) and does not look for career and self growth as the bar of entry is very low.
The challengesIn short :
- Company has no guidelines / SOP in regards of work procedures, internal work management, or even staff management. All SOP follows directly to the owner of the company
- Owner is not someone you can talk on with facts or reason with, mostly uses made-up reasons / authority in conversations to manipulate any conversations to follow what he wants. Owner is one of the worst there is.
- Career wise no growth potential, if there is one it would require you to work for years or be the owner's favorite
- Have the potential of being a one man army, must be able to handle all kinds of situations (e.x : You're the dev, you're also the Project Manager, you're also the one who does QA, you also present to the clients, etc)
- All problems stems from the owner.
I strongly discourage people who are :
- Someone who always want to self-growth (In experience, soft-skills, and career-wise)
- Someone who shows whats on their mind (All employees who are straightfoward gets fired instantly)
