A good place to build network but not for developing personal careerThe good thingsHave the chance & opportunity to travel overseas, visit the customers, attend the exhibitions. APP is a huge company with so many branches, affiliates, customers, etc. which create the environment becomes diverse with different cultural background. This is a good place to start as a rookie, building network, meeting new clients but don't expect to much about the career development. However, i rate working in APP is one of my good working experience.
The challengesSince the company is quite huge, there're so many layers and decision makers within the organization structure. Career development or promotion also impossible especially for the staff level. It is possible to get recognized when you are on the top management level. The other challenging part also when i had to follow up across department, it can take longer to get the approval or getting the job done.
