    Flexible work system, but overshadowed by toxic inter-unit politics and unclear HR practices
    The good thingsWhat I like most about Ako Media Asia is the hybrid work system and the free lunch when working from the office
    The challengesWhat I dislike about Ako Media Asia is that other business units are very unprofessional in their work, with backstabbing, taking opportunities from other units, and a toxic atmosphere between business units. The human capital function is unclear, with many changes to rules that are not stated in the contract.

    The good thingsBig clients, that's it. Nothing else. It would look good on your portfolio
    The challengesThey are not upfront with salary, they can change their words and not giving you the salary they promised, they are having problem with their system, the reimbursement is being held and mostly rejected for UNKNOWN REASON. They don't share their Employees Handbook and I was under the impression that they're hiding the rules for reimbursement and insurance. The upper management and senior managements like holdings are the worst people. They think everything will be solved with outsourcing someone. They dont understand how the IT development works and keep adding works to people when the load is clearly overloaded. There's no good thing, I wouldn't recommend you to work here for any reason. There are so many good companies, better companies out there.

    The good things- Lunch disediakan dari kantor (Siang & Malam) - Youth people working environment (Mostly staff nya anak muda) - Suka mengadakan acara2 fun internal - Mudah naik level jika kinerja kerja bagus. - Casual working environment - Project banyak & bervariasi, cocok untuk mencari pengalaman & tantangan
    The challenges- Minim supervision, lebih dituntut uuntuk bisa, belajar sendiri & dalam waktu singkat. - Project Timeline terlalu singkat. - Sistem / management perusahaan perlu diperbaiki lebih baik lagi. - Lembur adalah hal biasa, bahkan di weekend. - Perlu lebih memperhatikan happiness karyawan internal - Gaji mungkin agak kurang sebanding dengan load kerjaan

    The good thingsbelajar hal-hal yang baru dan meningkatkan skill dari sisi design, technical maupun maajemen skill. kita diajarkan untuk selalu mandiri setiap mendapatkan project. karena project tersebut adalah nyawa kita untuk bertahan di dalam perusahaan ini. kita juga dibimbing untuk menjadi good leader di situasi apapun. kita dapat belajar banyak dari 1 project tersebut
