Main Responsibility :
• Monitoring civil work productivity (concrete, rebar, formwork, steel structure, architectural works, and piling).
• Evaluating civil works progress and quality.
• Calculating material requirements for civil work (FMR – Field Material Request).
• Creating fieldwork schedules according to progress targets (time and manpower).
• Monitoring shop drawing documentation.
• Measuring progress of civil works (Subcontractor Foremen).
• Coordinating with engineers, quantity surveyors, QC, and procurement regarding issues with subcontractors or sub-vendors.
• Preparing civil work procedures and method statements.
• Monitoring stock levels of diesel fuel, natural materials, and consumable materials.

The good thingsThe complete facilities provided include accommodation, three meals a day covered by the company, and transportation to and from the project site, allowing us to focus more on the work and the targets to be achieved. Additionally, supportive colleagues and seniors provide guidance through good coordination and teamwork.
The challengesThe project site is located in Tobelo, North Halmahera, which can be considered a remote area. This makes material procurement more difficult and limited, so planning needs to be done 2–3 weeks in advance of the request. Frequent power outages in the accommodation area also affect productivity, as they disrupt work that needs to be done at the camp.
