Experienced in construction as Quantity Surveyor, Field Surveyor, and Admin SurveyThe good thingsDuring my time working on the Sigli–Banda Aceh toll road project, I truly enjoyed being part of a large-scale infrastructure development that directly impacts the region’s connectivity and growth. I found great satisfaction in collaborating with diverse teams—from field surveyors to engineers—and learning from experienced professionals in the industry. The dynamic nature of the project kept me engaged, and I appreciated the opportunity to solve real-world challenges, improve my technical skills, and contribute to something meaningful and lasting.
The challengesOne of the main challenges I encountered was working in remote areas with limited access to resources and unstable weather conditions, which often affected the project timeline. Coordinating between field teams, subcontractors, and consultants required strong communication and adaptability, especially when unexpected site conditions arose. Managing accurate quantity calculations under pressure and ensuring timely reporting also demanded high attention to detail and discipline. These challenges helped me grow professionally and taught me how to stay resilient and solution-oriented in demanding environments.
