Retail Business Development Senior Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and commercially driven Retail Business Development Senior Manager to accelerate business growth through alternative retail channels, strategic partnerships, and innovative retail initiatives across Indonesia.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business growth across alternative retail channels, including B2B, bazaars, pop-up stores, community retail, and omnichannel initiatives.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, retail concepts, and sustainable revenue streams.

• Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with corporate clients, communities, brands, and other business partners.

• Lead community engagement and retail activation programs to expand customer reach and drive sales.

• Develop business plans and commercial strategies, translating opportunities into scalable business initiatives.

• Manage end-to-end execution of new business initiatives, ensuring operational and commercial effectiveness.

• Take ownership of revenue targets, profitability, and P&L performance across assigned business channels.

About you

• Minimum 10 years of experience in retail, particularly in Business Development, Commercial Growth, or related functions.

• Proven experience managing alternative retail channels such as B2B, bazaars, pop-ups, community retail, or omnichannel businesses.

• Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in revenue management and P&L ownership.

• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and develop new business concepts into profitable revenue streams.

• Strong networking, negotiation, partnership development, and stakeholder management skills.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and agile business environment.

• Experience in start-up, entrepreneurial, or fast-paced retail environments is highly preferred.

• Experience managing business initiatives at a national level is an advantage.
