Hotel Human Resource Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, people-oriented, and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our hotel team. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations while fostering a positive, engaging, and professional workplace culture.

The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting and retaining talented employees, developing our people, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and supporting the hotel's operational and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with the hotel's business objectives.

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee development, performance management, and offboarding.

  • Lead recruitment activities to ensure the hotel attracts and hires qualified and service-oriented talent.

  • Develop and implement employee training and development programs.

  • Manage employee relations and provide guidance on workplace issues, grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.

  • Monitor employee performance and support managers in implementing effective performance management processes.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws and regulations.

  • Oversee HR administration, employee records, attendance, leave, and other HR-related processes.

  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop effective workforce planning strategies.

  • Promote employee engagement, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.

  • Previous experience as an HR Manager or HR Supervisor is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and training & development.

  • Good understanding of Indonesian labor laws and employment regulations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
