NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST (R&D)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and launch new products that meet consumer preferences, target quality standards, and profitability goals.

  • Conduct market and product benchmarking to identify new ideas and innovation opportunities.

  • Support and coordinate production trials for new product categories.

  • Scale up product formulations from laboratory trials to commercial production.

  • Prepare and present comprehensive trial, validation, and SAT reports.

  • Conduct shelf-life studies and provide accurate documentation and reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (BPOM, FSSC 22000, ISO, and other applicable standards).

  • Prepare and complete all required documentation before first production through the Smart Factory system.

  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding raw materials and product development requirements.

  • Monitor project timelines to ensure on-time product development and launch.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.

  • Experience in new product development within the FMCG or food industry.

  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Good understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards.

  • Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and product validation processes.
