About the role

We are seeking an Assistant to VP (Sales) to join our Sales department in Jakarta on a full-time basis. This is a strategic support role that will be fundamental to the successful execution of our new business development initiatives. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, you will serve as a key liaison between senior leadership and the sales team, providing essential administrative and analytical support whilst driving forward our business development objectives. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable exposure to senior-level business strategy and decision-making whilst contributing directly to the growth and expansion of our sales operations in the Indonesian market.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the VP of Sales.

• Support the development and execution of new business development strategies and sales initiatives

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new sales opportunities and market trends

• Prepare sales reports, presentations, and business proposals for senior management and prospective clients

• Maintain and update customer databases, sales pipelines, and CRM systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility of critical sales information

• Coordinate communication between the VP of Sales and various internal departments to ensure alignment on business development objectives

• Assist in the organisation and execution of sales meetings, client presentations, and business development events

• Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare analytical reports to support strategic decision-making

• Support the identification and qualification of potential new business opportunities and partnerships

• Perform general administrative tasks including correspondence, filing, and record-keeping

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a sales or business development role

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Indonesian

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) , and familiarity with AI

• Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market information

• Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Ability to work independently whilst supporting a dynamic sales leadership team

• Preferably, experience in the appliance, HVAC, or manufacturing industry would be advantageous

• Knowledge of the Indonesian market and local business practices is desirable

• Willing to re-locate and support Gree's Branch
