Photographer (Hospitality and Fabric)
About the role
We build wooden houses and hospitality buildings, then operate them ourselves. You will not photograph someone else's project once and leave — you will document the same building from a panel in the factory to the first guest waking up inside it.
This role owns day-to-day production: video, reels, drone and volume. Publication-grade architectural stills for the catalogue and press pack are commissioned from an independent external photographer, so this job is not about one perfect frame a month. It is about a consistent supply of material that never runs dry — and about running your own schedule to produce it.
Key responsibilities
Content bank: two shooting days per quarter — house walkthroughs, answers to camera, factory sequences, build progress. The shelf must never be empty.
Eight product assets for a suite launch in one to two concentrated days: hero film, walkthrough, design interview, making-of, guest morning, detail reel and stills.
Drone work. Aerials that explain the site — the slope, the planting, the ground left intact.
Event filming, with the shot list agreed in advance.
Client and owner films: four to six in the first year, at least two on site with the owner speaking.
Books and coordinates an external film crew when a production needs more than one person.
Delivers in the right formats every time: 9:16 for reels and stories, 16:9 for LinkedIn and YouTube, full-resolution stills plus web copies — filed to the folder convention.
Runs your own schedule. Shoots are planned around build progress, weather and guest occupancy.
About you
2+ years photo and video, with a portfolio in architecture, interiors or hospitality.
Drone operation, with your own footage to show. Licence or certification where required.
Gimbal operation and usable audio capture for narrated walkthroughs.
Edits your own work: reels, short cuts, and longer cuts for YouTube.
Manages yourself. You set your own shooting calendar and keep it visible to the team.
Available for irregular hours. The light we want is at dawn and dusk. Events run in the evening. Builds and guest occupancy set the schedule, including some weekends.
Mobile. Sites are spread across Uluwatu, Canggu and Ubud, plus the factory and client sites. Own transport is expected.
Can shoot alone. Most days there is no second pair of hands.
Own equipment, or a clear list of what needs providing.
Disciplined about files. Naming conventions and folder structure are not a formality here.
