Interior Designer
Key responsibilities
1. Design Development: Create, sketch, and edit preliminary design plans, including 2D/3D layouts and 3D modeling using tools like AutoCAD and SketchUp.
2. Planning How the Space Will Be Used (Space Planning) using tools AutoCAD
3. Creating a Design Idea (Concept Development) Create, sketch, and edit preliminary design plans
4. Material Selection: Source and select materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes (flooring, paint, textiles and others).
5. Making 3D Models using tools Enscape and SketchUp.
6. To communicate with client to get design and materials approval
7. Checking and approve Technical Drawings
8. Supervising the Work On-Site
9. Consultation & Planning: Analyze client needs to determine project goals and budgets.
10. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all designs conform to building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
11. Client Presentation: Prepare mood boards and presentations to communicate design concepts.
12. To co-ordinate technical drawings with the factory and conduct mock-up inspections for furniture production.
13. Delegate work to team members of interior designers
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related design discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of professional interior design experiences in commercial sectors, with proven expertise in leading design projects
- Advanced proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D rendering tools
- Demonstrated company portfolio completed projects in commercial sectors
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities to articulate design concepts effectively to diverse audiences
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furnishings and current interior design trends
- Problem-Solving and Flexibility
- Creativity: Strong artistic skills, color knowledge, and spatial awareness.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and commitment to quality
