Purchasing & Cost Control Officer

We are looking for a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Purchasing & Cost Control Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for managing purchasing activities, calculating product costs, maintaining accurate pricing, and ensuring healthy profit margins across our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

* Calculate product cost (COGS/Landed Cost) for imported and local products.

* Determine and update selling prices based on cost changes and target profit margins.

* Monitor changes in exchange rates, import costs, and other expenses affecting product pricing.

* Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) to suppliers.

* Coordinate and follow up with suppliers regarding production and shipment schedules.

* Maintain records of outstanding purchase orders and incoming shipments.

* Verify supplier invoices and ensure pricing accuracy.

* Review sales transactions to ensure pricing and margins are accurate.

* Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, product costs, and pricing updates.

* Support management with cost analysis and purchasing recommendations.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

* Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Purchasing, Cost Control, Procurement, or a related position.

* Proficiency in mandarin is a strong advantage.

* Strong analytical and numerical skills.

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF functions, etc.).

* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

* Strong communication and negotiation skills.

* Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

* Experience in import business is an advantage.

* Good command of English; Mandarin is a plus.
