Chief Accountant

We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Chief Accountant to lead the accounting function across our growing group of businesses. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting business growth through reliable financial reporting.

About the Role

As our Chief Accountant, you'll oversee accounting operations across three businesses under one PT PMA. Working closely with the General Manager and CEO, you'll ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and continuously improve our accounting processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the accounting function across all business entities

• Preparing and reviewing monthly and annual financial statements

• Managing month-end and year-end closing

• Reviewing reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger accuracy

• Supervising and supporting the Bookkeeper

• Coordinating with external tax consultants and auditors

• Monitoring cash flow and supporting budgeting and financial planning

• Developing and improving accounting SOPs and internal controls

• Ensuring compliance with Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and taxation

• Experience preparing financial reports and managing month-end closing

• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• Experience working across multiple business entities is an advantage

• Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Good English communication skills are preferred
